I already had my own personal website in 1999, but not under my own domain. In 2001 I started with my own website under http://jevonweb.fs2.com . There I also offered open source PHP scripts. I wrote my first version of the PHPenpals script already in 2001 ! And to be honest, there haven't been any major modifications to it either..
